Alternate sign-on logo screen for { PASS: Appointments Scheduler } ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ For users of VGA monitors *only*: Enclosed with your package of { PASS: Appointments Scheduler } should be a file called ALT_LOGO.PCX. It is an alternative design sign-on logo screen for the { PASS: Appointments Scheduler } program; the primary screen is an autumn leaves motif on a muted yellow background. The file called ALT_LOGO.PCX provides a user-selectable change of pace; the two designs may be used alternatively, simply as a relief from seeing the same sign-on logo time after time. This option only applies to users with VGA monitors; users with other types of monitors are always presented with the standard RCCO Research sign-on screen while the program loads behind it. To switch the two designs, simply change to the main directory in which { PASS: Appointments Scheduler } is installed. At the DOS prompt, type: REN _ADMIN5.PCX ORIGLOGO.PCX then you may type REN ALT_LOGO.PCX _ADMIN5.PCX (please take care to type the underscore [ _ ] symbol exactly as, and where, indicated above) and that's all you have to do to switch the two designs. If you have additional subdirectories (as explained in the documentation), you should copy the "new" _ADMIN5.PCX to those directories. Or, you may leave one or more of those subdirectories to contain the "other" _ADMIN5.PCX so that you may distinguish with different screens at least two of the directories with which you are working. When it comes time that you wish to switch back to the original (yellow) sign-on screen, type the following at the DOS prompt in the \PASS main directory: REN _ADMIN5.PCX ALT_LOGO.PCX and then REN ORIGLOGO.PCX _ADMIN5.PCX and you have the original setup for the primary directory. Copy the file as needed for any subdirectories. Please *enjoy* using { PASS: Appointments Scheduler } ! ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ RCCO Research
